Musik von der Schallplatte oder CD gibts von mir mehr oder weniger professionell seit 1987. Erst mit Agent Orange (so bis 1994) und danach dann alleine. Ich hab’ in mehreren Diskotheken in der Umgebung Musik aufgelegt. Und natürlich bei Privatparties bis 2007. Danach eigentlich nur noch, wenn ich mich nicht rausreden konnte.
Musikalisch bin ich einigermaßen breit aufgestellt, dafür meistens nicht so in der Tiefe. Mich interessiert Musik mit Synthesizern und mit verzerrten Gitarren. Es darf auch gern melodisch oder/und Funky sein zwischendurch. Dem Mainstream kann ich manchmal auch was abgewinnen wobei das in letzter Zeit immer schwieriger wird.
Lieblingsbands: Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Metallica, BAP, Beatsteaks, H-Blocks, Rammstein….
Lieblingskünstler: Mike Oldfield, Thomas D, Schiller und ‘ne ganze Menge anderer Bands und Solokünstler die mir jetzt gerade nicht einfallen.
Schlager, Volksmusik und ähnliches gehören definitiv nicht zu meiner bevorzugten Musik.
I’ve been playing music from records and CDs more or less professionally since 1987. First with Agent Orange (until 1994) and then on my own. I played music in several clubs in the area. And also at private parties until 2007. After that, only when I couldn’t talk my way out of it.
Musically, I have a fairly broad taste, but I’m not very knowledgeable about any particular genre. I’m interested in music with synthesizers and distorted guitars. I also like melodic and/or funky music from time to time. I can sometimes appreciate mainstream music, although that’s becoming increasingly difficult lately.

Radio Artland läuft inzwischen seit etwa 5 Jahren. Angefangen haben wir in einer Bar, die während der Corona-Zeit geschlossen war — als Möglichkeit, mit Menschen in Kontakt zu bleiben, die sich nicht persönlich treffen konnten. Seitdem sind wir mit großartigen DJs, einer Vielfalt an Stilen und Genres und — vor allem — einer fantastischen Hörergemeinschaft gewachsen.

Radio Artland has now been running for about 5 years. We started in a bar that was closed during Covid — as a way to stay connected with people who couldn’t meet up in person. Since then, we’ve grown with wonderful DJs, a variety of styles and genres, and — most importantly — a fantastic listening community.
